One can easily apply for a Georgia Learner’s Permit through the
Department of Driver Services (DDS) in the state of Georgia. Once a teen has a
learner’s permit, also known as an Instructional Permit, the next step would be
to take a Driver’s Education course. These Driver’s Ed. courses can be done in
both a classroom setting or online, which is the preferred method nowadays
seeing as they can be completed in the comfort of your own home. Let’s discuss in detail the different
requirements to obtain a Georgia
Learner’s Permit and completing the online Georgia Driver’s Ed. course, which is part of Joshua’s Law.

apply for a driver’s license, before the age of 17 years old.
Benefits of Having a Learner’s Permit
Once
you have your Georgia Learner’s Permit,
you must then meet the theory and practice requirements. As a new and
inexperienced driver, it is important to learn as much as you can to become the
safest and most knowledgeable driver you can be. Seeing as young drivers
require a little seasoning and practice before being able to acquire their
driver’s license; a Georgia Learner’s
Permit gives them that opportunity.
